Tours
Bocas del Toro is a tropical paradise teeming with ecological richness and recognized worldwide for its marine flora and fauna, attracting the interest of scientists. The beautiful large and well-formed coral reefs are a haven for snorkelers and divers, offering amazing views of Caribbean marine fauna.

Colón Island
Formed thousand years ago starting from coral reef fossils, many exposed on the central part of the island, a tunnel crosses the corals leading to an amazing natural cave. Colón Island sits in the middle of the Atlantic sea, surrounded by crystalline waters and golden pink sand, product of the reef pigmentation.

Due to its isolated condition Colón Island is like Noah’s Ark, filled with species, many of them extinct in the rest of the world and only found in this ancient forest, as in the case of the night monkey.

Bird Island
This island looks more like a gigantic rock in the middle of the ocean, an ideal spot to view the most exotic bird species of the world. Critically important to the continental ecosystem, migratory birds rest here after their seasonal long distance travels north to south, and back again.

Depending on the season this island provides refuge to close to 50 species.

Popa Islands
Visiting these islands is a must. It is home to a nearly intact ancient forest with the largest number of vertebrates in Bocas Del Toro, including the flamboyant and beautiful white bat. One of the Indian tribes populating the island is the Ngöbe Buglé, still maintaining their ancestral traditions.

Dolphin’s Bay
Scientists have not been able to determine exactly why the dolphins conglomerate in this area, a magnet attracting them to the island. Visitors are amazed viewing these marvelous animals in their natural habitat, playing and coexisting in harmony with humans. Dolphin’s Bay is a site recognized worldwide for dolphin conservation.

Bastimentos Island
One of the biggest islands in Bocas del Toro, the back area is ideal for surfing. Visitors will also discover an ancient forest conserved as a national park, home to a mammal species population not found on any other place in the world.
